BBC BOX
Searching for some information on the net and bbc site you get a lot of links, read those articles, news etc,sometimes its enough. But if you are working on some complex problem or you want to make a report for e.g on Chernobyl, you can collect all that links that you want. Because you can search e.g. first for Chernobyl, than for Atomic Energy, than for Soviet Union etc. You read article in a glance, than you save it to a BBC Box. In BBC Box you can create topics (smth like folders) and addlinks to them. Links can be named, you can add descripitions to them and sort them.After oyu've collected all you want you can work on these materials, the materials that you've selected . This is something like favourites in browser but with more possabilities. BBC site links in a Box can be opened directly on the same page.To add links not from bbc site you have to install BBC Box button for your net browser or add them manually. For extanded possabilities (e.g. privacy settings, open your box from anywhere) you have to pass a small login-password-email registration

SEARCH BLOCK
Visually the main block on the site. As todays internet user prefer to use search

LINKS
Links have be underlined. Links about navigation are bright default web blue color. News links are not so bright blue. Links to make some action on the current page are black.

NEWS
The biggest text on the main page is the latest Headline. Other news are collected in light color blocks, they easyly can be showed in column. It would be great if BBC home will automaticly recognise mobile and PDA devices and load versions for them.;

The concept isn't disimilar to some of the ideas in one of my favourite entries into the competition so far - rudpunk's Home and BBC Box. What I particularly liked was the concept and mock-up of the "BBC Box", where users could save their favourite BBC content and searches, and links from the web, into different folder topics. It looked like a really good idea, and I was impressed with the finer detail in the mock-up, like providing links to a BBC box button for IE and Firefox.»
